Description
You: Feel relatively comfortable with your technical skillset. You feel strongly deep inside that you can do more and deserve more from your workplace – more recognition and all that comes with that. However, you feel out of sorts with either your own progression or how your team is performing. You’re exhausted and feeling practically burnt out from all the effort and emotional investment you’ve made into work. So … you now want to see and feel a levelling up in the areas of work that you influence. You want another perspective on how to best navigate the work landscape in front of you.
Why am I part of this conversation?:
As a former Lawyer, CEO, and executive across sales, support, and governance, I’ve been at the top and bottom of commercial, corporate, and NFP environments and many places in between. I’ve led small local teams and large national/multi-country teams. I’ve led: staff who are multi-skilled and georgraphically spread; staff who needed developing; and businesses and business units who went through transformation, or needed to. I’ve secured great financial and cultural performance results; taken dormant brands to the next level, and converted ideas into 3D start-ups. I’ve been promoted many times, and changed job portfolios to find more success. I’ve also been in becalmed waters, and also been metaphorically kicked and punched in the face a couple of times – hard. I know what commercial success is like, and the effects of that. I also know the darkness of commercial failure and it’s shadow … as well as the light from newfound joy in beating it. Which all means I have foresight honed by experience that can help you find the best way forward while avoiding certain pitfalls.
For you, this means that I can help with the following:
– career mapping
– what is leadership? How should it show up for you?
– a [[seven]] point audit of your overall skillset
– managing and negotiating your work matrix
– what is the language of “inflluence” at your work, and how do you get better at it?
– commercial prioritisation
– business strategy
– business plan review
– working through under- or un- employment
Action:set up an intro call now to frame up what a 1v1 programme looks like to helping you be more confident and effective at work. You might just need a tune-up. … Or… You might want someting more in-depth. All good, we can talk about it.
